I use PayPal for pressure washing work but I don't use the PayPal merchant service that you pay $30/ mo for. Does anyone use their merchant service for fleet washing or anything? If so do you like it?

Trevor we use a credit card company that is really good. $7.95 a month pluse transaction fees. The break down I dont kknow for sure but, I know we pay 2.1% to 2.59% on each transaction. I can send you the info if you would like.

sure thanks. The reason I am interested in PayPal is I can use an app for my droid to process credit cards at the job site.

They also have an app to process via the phone. Not sure if it will work with droid. But worth a look.

Bryan, do you have the portable device to accept credit cards in the field or do you have to phone it in or get their info and then go online?

I also have the paypal account but not the merchant account because I don't have that many customers that request to pay with credit cards that much so I have the plan where I pay the 2.9% on every transaction but no monthly merchant account fee.

No credit cards for us!  It's cheque or cash only.  We do however do the Pay Pal method.  It goes a little like this sometimes......."pay yourf&^#ng bill pal."

Ya we accept Visa, MasterCard and Diners Club. I am looking to switch my merchant companys though my rates r to high! I have a sales rep coming over early July to 'talk' me into switching companys. If the rates r good they won't have to do much talking!
